Knitted Spring Ribbed Womens Cardigan Sweater

I used grey alpaca yarn from Acapella Alpaca Farm in Hollis, NH. The top-down knitting pattern with raglan sleeve shoulders is entitled "Knitted Spring Ribbed Cardigan" by Hannah Fettig (Knitbot). You could easily modify the pattern to shorten the sleeves and/or make it a bolero style sweater.

Honeycomb Knit & Pearl Quick Cowl

A quick-knit cowl. Pull it down over your shoulders or pile it around your neck. Very nice pattern of knit and pearl rows.

Knitted Women's V-Neck Button Down Sweater

I used this knitted sweater pattern as a guide, but adjusted it for full-length sleeves, 15" body from underarm to bottom and no lapel collar.

Easy Crochet Fingerless Gloves/Mittens - HDC Stitch

You can turn out these crochet fingerless gloves in less than a day. This is a very easy pattern to follow and very easy to adjust for different lengths and hand sizes.

Knitted Womens Sweater with Diagonal Yoke

This diagonal garter-stitch yoke on this womens knitted sweater adds extra flair and style. Knitting pattern is from a book of knitted sweater patterns entitled "Saturday Style" by Dorren L. Marquart.

The yarn is 80% alpaca and 20% merino from www.DecadentFibers.com. This multi-colored yarn is called "marshmallow" with vibrant tones of pink, maroon and a little bit of yellow and green. Look under the Decadent Colorways yarn category.

Alpaca yarn in Greenfield, NH

Spring Pond Farm in Greenfield, NH is where I have bought beautiful soft alpaca yarn for several years. You can see the sweaters I have crocheted with alpaca yarn on this web site. I'm always working on a knitting or crochet project and I use alpca more than any other yarn. I live in Nashua and recently discovered an alpaca farm closer to home. I haven't been there yet, but can't wait to buy some of their alpaca yarn.

Alpaca yarn in Hollis, NH

I ride my bicycle regularly, a 15-mile route, through Nashua and Hollis, NH. Just north of Silver Lake in Hollis there is a farm on the right across from the apple orchard there were always horses in the field. One day, a few months ago, poof!  The horses were gone and there were about a dozen adorably soft and cute alpacas were in the field. There's no sign out front, but I always hoped they would one day post a sign advertising alpaca yarn for sale. I got tired of waiting, so I Googled and found their Facebook page: Acappella Alpaca Farm. They have a one-page website: www.AcappellaAlpacaFarm.com  Not much info on the web page, but the FB page indicates that she will soon be selling alpaca yarn.  I can't wait to stop by!
